Vessel Descriptions

These unique candles vessels are made with cement and colored with cement pigment. They are poured into a mold, hardened, and sanded on the bottom.

First a mold is made with silicone. Then the cement is mixed with water and pigment (color) and poured in layers into the mold. Once hardened, the vessel is removed from the mold and left to finish curing. After the vessel is completely finished hardening, the bottom is sanded smooth to allow for safe handling and placement onto furniture. After the vessel is finished being made, it’s time to make candles for inside. Once the vessel is cleaned of all dust and debris, a wooden wick is placed inside. Then, soy wax is melted, fragrance is added, and once it’s at the right temperature, the scented wax is poured into the vessel and left to cure for 24-48 hours. Voila!

We have finally found a way to allow our customers to purchase our cement vessel candles online, and we’ve made the process customizable. Currently they are available by color scheme first. Then you choose the type of vessel/size of candle, then you choose your scent. It’s that easy! We make them to order with a 3-5 day turn around. Each vessel takes an entire day to create, then the candle needs 1-2 days to be poured and cured. We do production Mon-Friday only, so orders that come in over the weekend do not start until Monday, hence the possibility of it taking 5 days before it ships or gets delivered. Orders are made in the order they come in.

About: These geometric skulls are too small for a wood wick, so they are the only candle we use a traditional cotton wick with. The wax measures 2oz and the burn-time is roughly 10-15 hours.

Reuse: These vessels also fit a standard tea-light candle inside, or a tiny succulent or air plant.

About: This tower of skulls was inspired by the catacombs of Paris. The wax measures 5oz and the burn-time is roughly 25-30 hours.

About: This cement vessel is the only one that features our logo embedded in the top of the lid. The lid doubles as a coaster and a flame snuffer. The wax measures 5oz and the burn-time is roughly 25-30 hours.

About: This cement vessel one of our personal favorites. This is the only candle that features an “S-flame” wooden wick and a beveled edge. The wax measures 8oz and the burn-time is roughly 40-50 hours.

Reuse: These vessels fit other small candles, or make great planters for succulents or other small plants that don’t require a drain hole or too much water. About: This cement vessel is one of our most popular for planter reuse, and also one of our most popular for people who say “one wick just isn’t enough for me”. The wax measures 12oz and the burn-time is roughly 50-60 hours.

About: This cement vessel is our newest and current favorite. Featuring 5 wicks, this is perfect for a large room, and is large enough for any type of planter reuse. The wax measures 20oz and the burn-time is roughly 60 hours.

Reuse: This vessel would be top choice for several small succulents together in one vessel. They look great in any room and can also double as vessel to hold anything from keys make-up. Sky is the limit. What will you use it for?
